Do I need to get this certificate notarized?
Certificates for internal training, participation in workshops, or corporate events generally do not require notarization. They are issued on the authority of the issuing organization. Government-regulated certificates (e.g., professional qualifications, degrees) are issued by accredited institutions and are separately governed.
Can this certificate be used for a job application?
A printed certificate from this tool can supplement your portfolio for informal training, workshops, hackathons, or volunteering. For formal qualifications or government-recognized certifications, you would need certificates issued by accredited bodies.
How do I add a logo to the certificate?
This tool renders a clean text-based certificate. To add a logo, print the certificate and then affix a printed logo, or use a design tool like Canva to overlay your logo on the downloaded print. We may add logo upload support in a future update.
What paper should I use to print a certificate?
For best results, print on A4 or Letter-size thick paper (100–120 GSM). Matte photo paper gives a premium feel. Landscape orientation is recommended. Many print shops also offer certificate paper with pre-printed borders.
Can I change the certificate to landscape orientation?
The certificate preview on this page is landscape by default. When printing, make sure your print dialog is set to "landscape" orientation. In Chrome, go to Print > More settings > Layout > Landscape.
